Inspired by 1960s French Actress Anna Karina, Jason Wu's Resort 2011 created a collection apt for a romp in Europe.

There was a Parisian flavor to the collection, from the Coco-esque straw boaters to the tweedy skirtsuits to the sailor-stripe sweaters and full menswear pants. On the garçon-ish side of the equation, Wu had a couple of the shorts suits that have quickly turned into a big Resort trend.

But the duo behind Mara Hoffman did not rely entirely on flashy prints. The expert craftsmanship was evidenced in the embellishments and braiding that adorned many of the flirty dresses.

On the accessories front, the chunky bangles and platform heels were unique and eye-catching.

The look was light on evening wear, but the effervescent day dresses more than compensate for the lack of more formal attire.
